Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes RNA polymerase I-specific transcription initiation factor RRN3 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
RRN3 (also called TIF-IA) is an RNA polymerase I–associated factor needed for transcription initiation of ribosomal RNA genes. It links Pol I to the promoter-bound SL1 complex, and its activity is regulated by growth and stress signals, making it a control point for ribosome production.

Immunogen
Recombinant human RRN3 fragment (Asp184–Leu651), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 87.4%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places RNA polymerase I-specific transcription initiation factor RRN3 in the nucleus.
