Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects ribosomal RNA processing protein 1 homolog B (gene RRP1B) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 84.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
RRP1B is a nucleolar protein with roles beyond ribosome production. It targets protein phosphatase 1 to the nucleolus, acts as a coactivator of E2F1-driven proapoptotic genes after DNA damage, and influences mRNA splicing, and in mice it has been identified as a modifier of metastasis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human HepG2 cells, human HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SiHa cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human RRP1B fragment (Glu20–Lys727), expressed in E. coli.
