Product Overview
Clone 24R41 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes inactive tyrosine-protein kinase RYK in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 67.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 72 kDa.
RYK is a receptor tyrosine kinase-like protein with an inactive kinase domain that acts as a Wnt co-receptor, binding Wnt ligands such as WNT5A. It guides axon growth and neuronal differentiation, and after Wnt stimulation its intracellular fragment can be cleaved and move to the nucleus to support neurogenesis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human MCF-7 cells, human A431 cells, human A549 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500, ECL detection.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places inactive tyrosine-protein kinase RYK in the cell membrane, nucleus and cytoplasm.
