Product Overview
Clone AOBG-19 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes protein S100-A6 (gene S100A6) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 10.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 10 kDa.
S100A6 (also called calcyclin) is an EF-hand calcium-binding protein that acts as a calcium sensor inside cells. By interacting with partner proteins it influences actin cytoskeleton organization, cell motility and proliferation, and its expression is studied in several cell types and tumors.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human SW620 cells, human placenta tissue, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places protein S100-A6 in the nucleus envelope, cytoplasm and cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
