Product Overview
Clone 24S03 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 3 (gene S1PR3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 42.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 42 kDa.
S1PR3 (also known as EDG3) is a G protein-coupled receptor for sphingosine 1-phosphate that can couple to several G protein classes. It influences cell survival, proliferation and migration, and it is studied in vascular biology, inflammation and fibrosis.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 1:500–1:2000 |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human HeLa cells, human A549 cells, human SiHa cells, rat C6 cells, rat NRK cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human S1PR3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 3 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in all tissues, but most abundantly in heart, placenta, kidney, and liver. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
