Product Overview
Clone 21S74 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes serum amyloid A-4 protein (gene SAA4) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 14.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 15 kDa.
Serum amyloid A4 (SAA4) is a member of the serum amyloid A family that, unlike SAA1 and SAA2, is produced constitutively rather than strongly induced during inflammation. It circulates mainly bound to HDL particles, and its exact physiological role is still being studied.
