Product Overview
Clone 23K79 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes KH domain-containing, RNA-binding, signal transduction-associated protein 1 (gene KHDRBS1) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 48.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 68 kDa.
Sam68 (KHDRBS1) is a KH domain RNA-binding protein that also serves as a signaling adapter. It is tyrosine-phosphorylated downstream of Src family kinases and several receptors, binding SH2 and SH3 domain proteins, and it links these signals to RNA processing, notably alternative splicing of target transcripts. Sam68 is studied in cell cycle control, neuronal and bone development, and cancer.
