Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects nucleoprotein in human samples and is validated for ELISA.
The nucleocapsid (N) protein of SARS-CoV-2 packages the viral RNA genome into a helical ribonucleoprotein and interacts with the membrane protein M during virion assembly. It also supports viral RNA synthesis and interferes with host stress granules. Being abundant and immunogenic, N protein is a major target in SARS-CoV-2 antigen and antibody research.
