Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets replicase polyprotein 1ab in human samples and is validated for ELISA.
In SARS-CoV-2, replicase polyprotein 1ab (pp1ab) is the large precursor translated from the viral genome and cut by viral proteases into 16 non-structural proteins (nsp1–nsp16). These include the proteases themselves, the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase nsp12, the helicase nsp13 and enzymes that cap viral RNA, which together form the replication–transcription complex, making them key targets in coronavirus research and antiviral drug discovery.
