Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP-associated protein 1 (gene SART1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 90.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 110 kDa.
SART1 belongs to the U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP, a preassembled particle that joins the spliceosome during pre-mRNA splicing, and it is needed for tri-snRNP recruitment. It was first identified as a tumor antigen recognized by T cells and is studied in RNA splicing and cancer immunology.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human colorectal adenocarcinoma tissue, human ovarian cancer tissue, human breast cancer tissue, human laryngeal squamous cells carcinoma tissue, human lung cancer tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): human breast cancer tissue.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U2OS cells, Jurkat cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human SART1 fragment (Lys125–Lys800), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP-associated protein 1 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
