Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes sister chromatid cohesion protein PDS5 homolog A (gene PDS5A) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 150.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 151 kDa.
PDS5A is a HEAT-repeat protein that binds the cohesin complex and regulates how long cohesin stays on chromatin. By working with WAPL and sororin, it helps set up and maintain the cohesion that holds sister chromatids together from DNA replication until mitosis, and it is studied in chromosome segregation, DNA repair and genome organization.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human HEK293 cells, rat stomach tissue, rat pancrease tissue, mouse stomach tissue, mouse pancrease tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): A431 cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places sister chromatid cohesion protein PDS5 homolog A in the nucleus.
