Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets sodium channel and clathrin linker 1 (gene SCLT1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 80.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 75 kDa.
SCLT1 is an adaptor protein first described as linking the sodium channel Nav1.8 (SCN10A) to clathrin, possibly promoting channel internalization. It is also found at the distal appendages of centrioles, where it is studied for its role in ciliogenesis.

| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human COLO320 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human SCLT1 fragment (Phe19–Ile688), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 76.7%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
