Product Overview
Clone 32S25 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes succinate dehydrogenase (gene SDHB) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 31.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 27 kDa.
SDHB is the iron-sulfur subunit of succinate dehydrogenase (mitochondrial complex II), which carries electrons from succinate oxidation toward ubiquinone. Germline SDHB mutations predispose to paragangliomas and pheochromocytomas, and loss of SDHB staining is used in tumor research.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human SDHB.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places succinate dehydrogenase in the mitochondrion inner membrane.
