Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein transport protein Sec24C in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 118.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 118 kDa.
SEC24C is a cargo-selecting subunit of the COPII coat that packages proteins leaving the endoplasmic reticulum for the Golgi. Along with SEC24D it recognizes distinct export signals and helps export GPI-anchored proteins through cargo receptors.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human 293T cells, human Jurkat cells, human T-47D cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): K562 cells.

Recombinant human SEC24C fragment (Leu178–Arg1033), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places protein transport protein Sec24C in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous.
