Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes protein transport protein Sec61 subunit beta (gene SEC61B) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
SEC61B is the β subunit of the SEC61 translocon, the protein-conducting channel of the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. The translocon binds ribosomes and lets newly made secretory proteins cross the membrane or insert as transmembrane proteins, and SEC61B is commonly used as an ER marker.
