Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects splicing factor 3A subunit 3 (gene SF3A3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 58.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 59 kDa.
Splicing factor 3A subunit 3 (SF3A3, SF3a60) is a subunit of the SF3a complex of the U2 snRNP. It contributes to early spliceosome assembly and to recognition of the intron branch site in pre-mRNA, and it is studied in pre-mRNA splicing in human systems.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places splicing factor 3A subunit 3 in the nucleus speckle and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
