Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets splicing factor 3B subunit 4 (gene SF3B4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 44.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 44 kDa.
Splicing factor 3B subunit 4 (SF3B4, SF3b49) is an RNA-binding subunit of the SF3b complex within the U2 snRNP. It contributes to recognition of the intron branch site during spliceosome assembly, and heterozygous SF3B4 mutations cause Nager syndrome, a craniofacial and limb disorder.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human MCF-7 cells, human U2OS cells, human HGC-27 cells, human GES-1 cells, rat brain tissue, rat stomach tissue, mouse brain tissue, mouse stomach tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the N-terminal region of human SF3B4. The peptide sequence is conserved in mouse and rat.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places splicing factor 3B subunit 4 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
