Product Overview
Clone 29U61 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 D1 (gene UBE2D1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 16.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 17 kDa.
UBE2D1 (UbcH5A) is a ubiquitin-conjugating (E2) enzyme of the UBE2D family that works with many RING-type E3 ligases. It supports Lys48-linked ubiquitination for degradation of short-lived and abnormal proteins, including the E6/E6-AP-driven ubiquitination of p53, and it is used in ubiquitination assays.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): Raji cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human colon cancer tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
