Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects NAD-dependent protein deacylase sirtuin-6 (gene SIRT6) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Sirtuin 6 (SIRT6) is a chromatin-bound NAD+-dependent enzyme that deacetylates histone H3 at lysines 9 and 56 and also removes long-chain fatty acyl groups from proteins. It supports double-strand break repair and telomere maintenance and represses glycolytic and NF-κB target genes, so it is a key subject in studies of genome stability, metabolism and aging.
