Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes SLAM family member 6 (gene SLAMF6) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 37.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 60 kDa.
SLAMF6 (also called NTB-A or Ly108) is a self-binding receptor of the signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM) family expressed on NK cells, T cells and B cells. Signaling through the adaptor SAP modulates cytotoxicity and lymphocyte activation, and SLAMF6 is studied in T-cell exhaustion and lymphocyte biology.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.25 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Daudi cells, human Ramos cells, human Jurkat cells, human MOLT-4 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): Jurkat cells, THP-1 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human SLAMF6 fragment (Gln22–Val332), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 43.1%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places SLAM family member 6 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed by all (resting and activated) natural killer cells (NK), T- and B-lymphocytes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
