Product Overview
Clone 29S41 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes solute carrier family 12 member 1 (gene SLC12A1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 121.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 150 kDa.
NKCC2 (SLC12A1) is the kidney-specific Na+–K+–2Cl− cotransporter in the apical membrane of the thick ascending limb of Henle's loop. It drives salt reabsorption that underlies urine concentration, it is the target of loop diuretics such as furosemide, and its loss causes type 1 Bartter syndrome.
