Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects solute carrier family 13 member 4 (gene SLC13A4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 69.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 62 kDa.
SLC13A4 (also called SUT1) is a sodium-coupled sulfate transporter of the SLC13 family. It is highly expressed in the placenta, where it is thought to supply sulfate to the fetus for sulfation reactions, and it has also been reported in high endothelial venules.

The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places solute carrier family 13 member 4 in the membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in placenta and testis with intermediate levels in brain and lower levels in heart, thymus and liver.
