This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes solute carrier family 22 member 3 (gene SLC22A3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 61.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 61 kDa.
Organic cation transporter 3 (OCT3, SLC22A3) is a polyspecific transporter of organic cations with broad tissue distribution, including the brain, heart, skeletal muscle and placenta. It is often described as an extraneuronal monoamine transporter that helps clear norepinephrine, serotonin and histamine, and it also handles cationic drugs.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HEK293 cells, human HeLa cells, mouse skeletal muscle tissue, mouse lung tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HeLa cells.
