Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets organic anion transporter 7 (gene SLC22A9) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 62.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
Organic anion transporter 7 (OAT7, SLC22A9) is a liver-specific transporter on the sinusoidal membrane of hepatocytes. It shows strong selectivity for sulfated conjugates, such as estrone sulfate and DHEA sulfate, and can exchange them for short-chain fatty acids like butyrate.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human hepatocellular carcinoma tumor tissue (HCCT).
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HepG2 cells.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places organic anion transporter 7 in the basolateral cell membrane.
