Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets nucleotide sugar transporter SLC35D1 in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 39.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 39 kDa.
SLC35D1 is a nucleotide sugar transporter in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. It moves UDP-glucuronic acid and UDP-N-acetylgalactosamine into the ER, supplying sugars for chondroitin sulfate synthesis, and its loss causes Schneckenbecken dysplasia, a lethal skeletal disorder.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Mouse) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human SIHA cells, human Daudi cells, mouse thymus tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U87 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human SLC35D1 fragment (Met1–Val355), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places nucleotide sugar transporter SLC35D1 in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
