Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects solute carrier family 35 member E4 (gene SLC35E4) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 36.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 40 kDa.
SLC35E4 is a member of the SLC35 family of nucleotide sugar transporters. It is predicted to be a membrane transporter, but its substrates and function have not been fully characterized.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human A431 cells, human SiHa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): PC-3 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human SLC35E4 fragment (Met1–Leu350), expressed in E. coli.
