Product Overview
Clone ACGF-19 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes slit homolog 2 protein (gene SLIT2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 169.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 58 kDa.
Slit2 is a secreted guidance protein that signals through Roundabout (Robo) receptors. During nervous system development it acts mainly as a repellent that keeps axons from crossing the midline inappropriately and steers neuron migration; it also affects cell migration and angiogenesis outside the brain, so it is studied in neurodevelopment and cancer.
