Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets sarcolemmal membrane-associated protein (gene SLMAP) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 95.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
SLMAP is a membrane-associated protein that joins the STRIPAK complex together with SIKE1. This complex dephosphorylates the Hippo kinase MST2 (STK3), dampening Hippo signaling, so SLMAP is studied in growth control; it was first identified in muscle membranes.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human A431 cells, human Caco-2 cells, human U251 cells, human SIHA cells, mouse heart tissue, mouse skeletal muscle tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): K562 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human SLMAP fragment (Asp25–Glu607), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places sarcolemmal membrane-associated protein in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
