Product Overview
Clone 17S67 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes synaptosomal-associated protein 23 (gene SNAP23) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 23.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 23 kDa.
SNAP23 is a ubiquitously expressed t-SNARE, a membrane protein that pairs with syntaxins and vesicle SNAREs to drive membrane fusion. It supports constitutive and regulated exocytosis in many non-neuronal cells, including granule release in immune cells.
