Product Overview
Clone 20S26 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes sorting nexin-1 (gene SNX1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 59.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 74 kDa.
Sorting nexin-1 (SNX1) is a PX- and BAR-domain protein that binds phosphoinositide-rich endosomal membranes. As part of the SNX-BAR retromer machinery, it forms membrane tubules that carry cargo from endosomes back to the trans-Golgi network or to the plasma membrane.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human SNX1.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places sorting nexin-1 in the endosome membrane, early endosome membrane and cell projection. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
