Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets son of sevenless homolog 1 (gene SOS1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Son of sevenless homolog 1 (SOS1) is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor that activates Ras by swapping bound GDP for GTP. Recruited downstream of receptor tyrosine kinases such as EGFR, it switches on the Ras-MAPK/ERK cascade and can also relay signals to Rac, so it is a central target in growth factor signaling research.
