Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets protein sprouty homolog 2 (gene SPRY2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 34.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 35 kDa.
Protein sprouty homolog 2 (SPRY2) is a feedback inhibitor of receptor tyrosine kinase signaling that antagonizes FGF-induced ERK1/2 activation. It shapes developmental processes such as lens, limb and lung formation, and it can also protect EGFR from CBL-mediated ubiquitination, so it is studied in growth factor signaling and development.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human PC-3 cells, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U87 cells.

Reactivity Notes
