The predicted molecular weight is 16.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 20 kDa.
Signal recognition particle 19 kDa protein (SRP19) is a subunit of the signal recognition particle that binds directly to 7SL SRP RNA. It is needed to assemble SRP54 into the particle, which is essential for delivering nascent secretory and membrane proteins to the ER.
