Clone 29S11 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes somatostatin receptor type 3 (gene SSTR3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 45.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
Somatostatin receptor 3 (SSTR3) is one of five G protein-coupled receptors that respond to somatostatin-14 and somatostatin-28. Signaling through inhibitory G proteins, it suppresses adenylyl cyclase and lowers cAMP levels, and it is studied alongside the other SSTR subtypes in endocrine and neuronal signaling.
