Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets suppressor of tumorigenicity 7 protein (gene ST7) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for flow cytometry, ICC/IF and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 67.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 67 kDa.
Suppressor of tumorigenicity 7 (ST7) is a protein encoded on human chromosome 7q31 that has been proposed to act as a tumor suppressor. Its biochemical function has not been fully characterized.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human Jurkat cells, human PC-3 cells, rat brain tissue, rat heart tissue, mouse brain tissue, mouse heart tissue, mouse Neuro-2a cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A431 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.

Synthetic peptide from the middle region of human ST7. The peptide sequence is conserved in mouse and rat.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places suppressor of tumorigenicity 7 protein in the membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels in heart, liver and pancreas. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
