Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets signal-transducing adaptor protein 1 (gene STAP1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 34.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 36 kDa.
STAP1 (signal-transducing adaptor protein 1, also called BRDG1) is an adaptor expressed in B cells. Downstream of the B-cell receptor it docks with the TEC kinase and enhances TEC activity in a positive feedback loop, and it is studied in B-cell signaling.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Ramos cells, human Raji cells, human Daudi cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U937 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human STAP-1/STAP1 fragment (Met2–Glu282), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places signal-transducing adaptor protein 1 in the nucleus, cytoplasm and mitochondrion. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
