Product Overview
Clone HDF-19 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes signal transducer and activator of transcription 5B (gene STAT5B) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 89.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 90–95 kDa.
STAT5B is a transcription factor closely related to STAT5A that is activated by cytokines, hormones and growth factors. It binds GAS elements to drive prolactin- and growth hormone-responsive genes, supports hematopoietic differentiation and is important for regulatory T cells. STAT5B deficiency causes growth hormone insensitivity with immune dysfunction.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human K562 cells, human HeLa cells, human Raji cells, human HEL cells, human Jurkat cells, rat lung tissue, rat liver tissue, rat thymus tissue, rat skeletal muscle tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse liver tissue, mouse thymus tissue, mouse skeletal muscle tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human breast tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with a confirmed result (IP): K562 cells.
