Product Overview
Clone 25N93 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes steroidogenic factor 1 (gene NR5A1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 51.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 52 kDa.
Steroidogenic factor 1 (SF-1, NR5A1) is a nuclear receptor that is essential for development of the adrenal glands and gonads. It activates genes for steroid hormone synthesis, such as STAR and CYP11A1, as well as AMH. NR5A1 mutations cause disorders of sex development and adrenal insufficiency, making it central to reproductive endocrinology research.
