Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes STE20-related kinase adapter protein beta (gene STRADB) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 47.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 33 kDa.
STRADβ (STRADB) is a pseudokinase that lacks catalytic activity but, together with the scaffold MO25, binds and activates the tumor suppressor kinase LKB1 (STK11). By holding LKB1 in an active conformation, it supports LKB1 signaling to AMPK and related kinases.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SiHa cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human STRADB fragment (Glu24–Glu411), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places STE20-related kinase adapter protein beta in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, testis, liver and colon. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
