Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects striatin-interacting protein 1 (gene STRIP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 95.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 100 kDa.
STRIP1 (striatin-interacting protein 1) is a core subunit of STRIPAK complexes, which combine the phosphatase PP2A with kinases to regulate Hippo, MAPK and cytoskeletal signaling. STRIP1 is required for cortical actin dynamics, cell shape and cytoskeletal organization.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Mouse, Rat) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Human, Mouse, Rat) |
| Immunoprecipitation | 0.5–2 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HEL cells, human RT4 cells, human SH-SY5Y cells, rat brain tissue, rat C6 cells, mouse brain tissue, mouse Neuro-2a cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 8% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human colon cancer tissue, mouse ovary tissue, rat ovary tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with a confirmed result (IP): RT4 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SH-SY5Y cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human STRIP1 fragment (Glu93–Gln511), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 98.1%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places striatin-interacting protein 1 in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
