Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes synaptojanin-2-binding protein (gene SYNJ2BP) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
Synaptojanin-2-binding protein (SYNJ2BP) is a small PDZ-domain protein anchored in the mitochondrial outer membrane that binds synaptojanin-2. It has been reported to control endocytosis of activin type 2 receptors through a Ral-dependent route and may thereby dampen activin signaling.

Immunogen
Recombinant human SYNJ2BP fragment (Asp32–Leu145), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 88.6% and 86.8%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places synaptojanin-2-binding protein in the mitochondrion outer membrane.
