Product Overview
Clone 20S42 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes syntenin-1 (gene SDCBP) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 32.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 32 kDa.
Syntenin-1 (SDCBP) is a PDZ-domain adaptor protein that binds the cytoplasmic tails of syndecans and many other membrane proteins. It controls membrane protein trafficking and, together with syndecans and ALIX, the formation of exosomes, and it also enhances TGF-β signaling and cell migration in cancer studies.
