Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects TGF-beta-activated kinase 1 and MAP3K7-binding protein 3 (gene TAB3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 78.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 90 kDa.
TAB3 is a close paralog of TAB2 that binds Lys63-linked polyubiquitin chains through its NZF zinc finger and connects TAK1 to TRAF6-containing complexes. By promoting TAK1 activation it feeds into NF-κB and JNK signaling, and it is studied in innate immunity and inflammatory signaling.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human 293T cells, human HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HL-60 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human TAB3 fragment (Arg70–Asp656), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
