Product Overview
Clone 22T62 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes TGF-beta-activated kinase 1 and MAP3K7-binding protein 3 (gene TAB3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 78.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 90 kDa.
TAB3 is a close paralog of TAB2 that binds Lys63-linked polyubiquitin chains through its NZF zinc finger and connects TAK1 to TRAF6-containing complexes. By promoting TAK1 activation it feeds into NF-κB and JNK signaling, and it is studied in innate immunity and inflammatory signaling.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 1:500–1:2000 |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 1:50–1:200 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human HeLa cells, human Caco-2 cells, human 293T cells, mouse RAW264.7 cells, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human TAB3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
