Boster Bio Anti-TAF3 Antibody Picoband® catalog # A07129-1. Tested in WB, IHC, ICC/IF, Flow Cytometry, ELISA applications. This antibody reacts with Human. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.
Scientific background: The highly conserved RNA polymerase II transcription factor TFIID (see TAF1; MIM 313650) comprises the TATA box-binding protein (TBP; MIM 600075) and a set of TBP-associated factors (TAFs), including TAF3. TAFs contribute to promoter recognition and selectivity and act as antiapoptotic factors (Gangloff et al., 2001 [PubMed 11438666]).
Cross reactivity: No cross-reactivity with other proteins
Protein: Transcription initiation factor TFIID subunit 3 | Gene: TATA-box binding protein associated factor 3 | Target: TAF3
Host: Rabbit | Clonality/Clone: Polyclonal | Isotype: Rabbit IgG | Reactivity: Human | Immunogen: E.coli-derived human TAF3 recombinant protein (Position: M1-E612). Human TAF3 shares 86.2% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse TAF3. | Concentration: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml. | Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
