Product Overview
Clone BAG-20 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes talin-2 (gene TLN2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 271.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 270 kDa.
Talin-2 (TLN2) is a paralog of talin-1 that links integrins to the actin cytoskeleton at focal adhesions and other adhesion structures. It is enriched in muscle and brain, and it can recruit and activate the lipid kinase PIP5K1C. Talin-2 is studied in cell adhesion, muscle attachment and synaptic biology.
