Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes eomesodermin homolog in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for ELISA and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 72.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 85 kDa.
Eomesodermin (EOMES, also called TBR2) is a T-box transcription factor. During embryogenesis it acts in trophoblast development and gastrulation and helps specify intermediate progenitors in the developing cortex. In the immune system it drives effector and memory programs in CD8+ T cells and NK cells, making it a common marker in lymphocyte studies.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): rat spleen tissue, rat thymus tissue, mouse spleen tissue, mouse thymus tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.

Recombinant human TBR2/Eomes fragment (Thr310–Asp532), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places eomesodermin homolog in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in CD8+ T-cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
