Product Overview
Clone 24T17 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes T-box transcription factor TBX3 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 79.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 85 kDa.
TBX3 is a T-box transcription factor that mainly represses target genes during development. It is needed for normal limb, mammary gland and heart conduction system formation, and mutations cause ulnar-mammary syndrome; it is also studied in stem cell pluripotency and cancer.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): MCF-7 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human tbx3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places T-box transcription factor TBX3 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
