Product Overview
Clone 30T05 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes transcription elongation factor A protein 1 (gene TCEA1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 34.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 34 kDa.
Transcription elongation factor S-II (TCEA1, also called TFIIS) helps RNA polymerase II move past sites where it pauses or backtracks. It stimulates the polymerase to cleave the protruding 3′ end of the nascent RNA, allowing transcription to restart from a new, correctly positioned end.
