Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects transcription factor 7 (gene TCF7) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 41.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 50 kDa.
TCF7 (also called TCF-1) is an HMG-box transcription factor of the TCF/LEF family that works with β-catenin in Wnt signaling. It is essential for early T-cell development and for maintaining stem-like memory and progenitor-exhausted T cells, making it a key marker in T-cell and tumor immunology research.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human MOLT-4 cells, mouse spleen tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the middle region of human TCF7. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 90.6%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places transcription factor 7 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Predominantly expressed in T-cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
